Food for the guinea pig. Guinea Pig care

Guinea pig menu. Can house coffee be fed with dry, commercial food?

The care of any breed of guinea pigs is mainly based on their correct feeding. The pigs’ diet can be supplemented with dry food – but it must be of high quality. Eating food is a good idea to supplement your vitamins, as long as there are no nuts or a high grain content in the food. It’s best to decide on a feed:

– with a high content of vitamin C (piglets do not store it, so feeding rodents should be based on providing them with this nutrient),
– with a minimum of 10% fiber (e.g. granulated dry food).
